Open opportunity for an individual with knowledge of statutes and regulations governing the board; knowledge of principles, practices and terminology of the professions that are licensed; knowledge of office procedures and equipment; and knowledge of business math computations, grammar, composition and spelling. Candidate must have the ability to interpret, explain and apply statutes and regulations; and the ability to work effectively with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and Adobe.

This is a full-time benefit eligible position, located in Jefferson City, Missouri. Starting Salary: $28,324

Position Details

This position is responsible for preparing agendas, public notices, mail ballots, and meeting minutes; composing correspondence involving agency rules, regulations and program responsibility; and preparing appropriate documents for travel requests, conference registrations, and hotel and meeting room reservations. This position is also responsible for reviewing licensure applications for completeness; mailing requested forms; and providing administrative support to the State Board of Accountancy. The successful candidate must have the ability to plan and organize work activities to achieve established goals and objectives; establish and maintain effective working relationships; communicate effectively; prepare clear and concise reports; complete other duties as assigned; and demonstrate regular and predictable attendance.


Two or more years of clerical support experience as an Office Support Assistant with the State of Missouri; and possession of a high school diploma or GED certificate.


Three or more years of clerical or office support experience; and possession of a high school diploma or GED certificate.

(Education may be substituted for the required experience.)
