Open opportunity for an individual with knowledge of statutes, regulations, principles, and procedures of the Board as it relates to complaints, investigations, malpractice, supervision cases, and licensure applications and renewals; knowledge of and ability to work effectively with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook and Acrobat Adobe Pro. The candidate must have the ability to plan and organize work flow to achieve established goals; work rapidly and accurately in processing a large volume of electronic documents; communicate clearly and concisely; and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure with minimal direction while keeping attention to detail.


This is a full-time benefit eligible position, located in Jefferson City. Starting Salary: $28,324.


Position Details

This position is responsible for performing audits of licensure files, investigative case files, legal case files, collaborative practice agreements and continuing education documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance; performing data entry of daily fees and preparing deposit; preparing purchase requisitions, expense accounts, vehicle logs, and out of state travel requests; arranging travel accommodations for staff; opening and processing daily mail, emails and faxes; preparing, scanning, and validating documents for electronic distribution and importing to retention system; assisting with preparing agendas and posting them to board website.



  • Two or more years of experience as an Office Support Assistant with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System; AND possession of a high school diploma or GED certificate.   OR
  • Three or more years of experience in clerical or general office support work; AND possession of a high school diploma or GED certificate.

(Earned credit hours from an accredited university may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience at a rate of 30 earned credit hours for one year.)
